Twelve images, twelve tests
Each card names the capability it stresses: dense text, layout, hierarchy, extreme aspect ratio or mood.

Roadside notice board
Signage · ChineseA long, deadpan Chinese notice photographed in flat afternoon light. The test is whether every line survives at reading size.

Live-stream interface
UI · ChineseA Hanfu portrait inside a full live-stream UI: header, gift alerts, chat feed and vertical calligraphy.

Eight-panel comic
Comic · ChineseA 1:8 vertical strip with eight panels and speech balloons. Useful for checking panel-to-panel text consistency.

Paper-cut pop-up book
Illustration · ChineseA layered paper-cut scene with a title and caption. The text sits on a busy, folded surface.

Literature textbook
Dense text · ChineseAn open textbook showing a classical Chinese text with notes and a page number — a dense multi-column test.

Tokyo crosswalk
Photo · EnglishA photoreal anime frame at a crossing. No headline; the test is atmosphere, faces and depth.

Stadium thumbnail
Poster · HeadlineA loud YouTube-style thumbnail with a crowd, giant layered headlines and a mascot. Built for small-screen legibility.

Physics exam paper
Typesetting · ChineseA straight-on scan of an exam: headings, six questions, formulas, diagrams and fine print. A stress test for hierarchy.

Gym motivational poster
Poster · EnglishA photo-led poster with a short motivational line. Check the spacing between the headline and the subject.

Ultra-wide beach banner
Banner · 4:1A 2880×720 ensemble banner. Extreme aspect ratios expose layout drift quickly.

Chalkboard handwriting
Long text · EnglishEight lines of natural English handwriting on a chalkboard. This is the long-form English test.

Rainy convenience store
Photo · EnglishA rainy-night neighborhood store with signage and reflections. A mood-first image with incidental text.
02 / How to read the gallery
What to look for
- Dense text: are the smallest lines still legible, or do they collapse into texture?
- Hierarchy: can you tell the headline from the body and the caption without reading the prompt?
- Layout: do columns, prices and labels stay in their boxes, especially at extreme aspect ratios?
- Mood: does the image still work when the text is incidental rather than the subject?
